Eggshell Mosaics

Hard-boil the eggs and peel off the shells into several piles. Fill the bowls with mixed dye and color each pile of shells. After they dry, separate by color into bags and crush the shells. Draw a picture on a piece of paper and glue the colored eggshells onto the paper, creating a mozaic.

Hard-boil an egg. Cut one of the cups from an egg carton, trim it to make four legs and then cut out the bottom. Cut two ears from the egg carton and wrap them around the middle of the egg by using the pipe cleaners Place the egg on the four-legged stand, putting the pipe cleaner ends down through the center hole and then wrapping them around the rear legs. Glue the pom-pom nose and tail on the egg. Glue two eyes above the nose and draw a mouth below it.
