Hop to it with these easy decorating tips to put a little Spring in your Easter Brunch!
Use colorful flower pots to hold cutlery and napkins. Or purchase plain pots and add your own creative touches! Include colorful Easter grass from Party City and plasticware in tons of great Spring colors!
Add fresh Spring flowers for sweet-smelling centerpieces and serve rolls or other finger foods in inexpensive, plastic Easter baskets to give your table a festive flair!
What's Easter without marshmallow Peeps!?! C'mon, admit it - you love 'em! Even if you don't like to eat them, you can add a little fun to your table by decorating with them! Create silly centerpieces, or even stick a toothpick in each one, attaching a place card with the names of each dinner guest!
Or make unique place cards for your table by dyeing Easter eggs and writing guests' names on each egg. Use glitter paint pens to add extra sparkle - but don't let guests eat them!
And of course, visit Party City for a great selection of festive tableware, garlands, Easter baskets, fillers and other fun decorations just in time for Spring!
They're Not Just for Christmas Anymore!
Add a little "egg-citement" to your holiday and create your own Easter tree! Gather some branches from the backyard - even one large one will do - and stand it up in a large flower pot, securing it with decorative rocks or craft moss. You could even secure it in a large piece of Styrofoam fitted into the pot before covering with rocks or moss. Visit Party City for decorative lights and bright-colored plastic eggs. Pinch a loop of yarn between the egg halves to make tree decorations! Fill the eggs first, if you wish, for an extra sweet surprise from the Easter Bunny on Easter morning!
Door Hanger
2 paper plates
Ribbon
Construction paper
Markers or crayons
Double-stick tape
Stapler and staples
Using the crayons or markers, draw a bunny face on the back of one of the paper plates.
Cut bunny ears out of construction paper and attach them to the bunny face.
Place the two plates front-to-front (so the bunny face is on the outside).
Staple along the bottom of the plates and halfway up so you can hold easter candy like a basket.
Attach a ribbon to the top of the plates for a handle. Now you can hang this on a doorknob or hook.
