Homemade egg dye!

Food coloring in lots of bright colors Vinegar Water Eggs
Combine 1 tablespoon of food coloring with 2 tsp. of vinegar in a deep cup. Fill cup about halfway with water. Gently place the eggs into the cups. Use a soup spoon to place the eggs in the cups and to remove them. Leave the eggs soaking until you've achieved the color you desire. Be sure to let the eggs dry thoroughly before touching them. Check out Party City for festive egg dyeing trays to keep your colorful creations high and dry!

Totally Psych-egg-delic!

If you're looking for an egg-citing new way to color Easter eggs this year, try the Rubber Band Technique! Check out Party City for the perfect egg-dyeing kit and prepare as usual. But before dipping the eggs in, wrap several rubber bands around the eggs in all different directions, being careful not to cover the egg completely. Dip the eggs into the dye. Once the color has dried, carefully remove the rubber bands and voila! Just like tie dye, you'll see that the eggshell is still white where it was covered by the bands. Add more bands now in other directions and dip into a different color for unique and totally groovy eggs! Be sure to let each color dry thoroughly before double-dipping!

The Hunt is On!

Which came first: the chick or the egg? Well, if you're looking to add a little something sweet to the traditional Easter Egg Hunt this year, our money's on the chick! Visit Party City for decorative Easter cellophane, treat bags and marshmallow Peeps in lots of fun Spring colors! Put a Peep in each bag, tie them with colorful ribbon and add them to the hunt! You can even hide one Peep in a separate color (like yellow) and award a giant chocolate bunny to the "hunter" who finds the "Golden Peep"!
